Android is the greatest mobile operating system of all time and Android and iOS are the two leading mobile OS as of now, there are thousands of games and apps available for both these platforms and I think Android is a little more popular than iOS because it is open source, and a lot of devices are actually running Android more than that of iOS.
IOS is a proprietary software while Android is free to use and anyone can actually install it even on their computers. We are talking about such a scenario here in this article and we'll be discussing installing a real Android operating system on our PC.That will help us to run Android games and apps and all that thing easily and without wasting further Ado. Let's jump straight in.
As we all know there are Android emulators, online Android emulators, but the thing that we are going to talk about in this article is a dedicated PC based Android OS, Yes, You heard it right. We are talking about a pc-based Android OS which is actually running on Android, but you get all that stuff. You can do in a PC like Mouse pointer, keyboard support, Wi-Fi access, You can do multitasking, open apps as well as resize it, minimize it and what not, you tell.
These OSs are entirely different from our regular Android emulators like Bluestcaks, MEmu, and Nox app player
The first one on our list is Phoenix OS. So talking about Phoenix OS, it is a computer-based Android operating system as part of the Android x86 project. So to install this Phoenix OS all you have to do is just grab a USB thumb drive and burn the iso contents or files onto the pen drive and you can do a simple installation by visiting the guide that is available on their official website. Phoenix voice is really great and you get that all features that you will in need like THE ability to resize Windows apps, open multiple apps at the same time. Access to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, connect keyboard, use Mouse pointer, drag-and-drop keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl + V Ctrl + C, printer support , Etc and all that is available in Phoenix OS . The only problem with Phoenix OS is that the Android version is a little bit outdated, but that won't be any sort of a problem for you as a regular user. So it is a must that you need to try Phoenix OS as it has got lots and lots of features that will be definitely helpful for pretty much anyone who is into Android development or even testing apps or even debugging apps.
The next one in our list is Remix OS.
We already know that remix OS is the company behind Remix OS player which is essentially an Android emulator. But what we are talking about here is remix OS which is entirely different from the remix OS player. Remix OS Player is an Android emulator while remix OS is a standalone Android based PC OS that is capable of running games apps and whatnot. Similar to Phoenix OS, Remix OS has got all those features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC support If your computer has it, you can unlock your computer by face unlock, pattern, fingerprint if it has support for that. Apart from all that, You can also minimize Windows, resize It, and open multiple apps simultaneously in different windows.
You can install apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram and even run high FPS games like PubG, Call of Duty, Need for Speed etcetera in these particular OSs, and that will be of no issues at all.
No coming to the installations part as of now installing this OS you can be a little bit tricky for beginners. I would suggest you guys install the same on to a Pendrive and try it first. And only if you're satisfied with the results, then go ahead and proceed with installing this to your main computer. You can actually dual boot your computer for this though. This way you can actually have your windows or Linux operating system and in parallel, you can access this Android operating system like Phoenix OS or Remix OS always which is installed side by side. Two things. I like the most about Phoenix OS and remix OS is the support for mouse and keyboard shortcuts. Yes. You heard it, right, We have support for keyboard shortcuts in this particular is you have this regular keyboard shortcuts, press Ctrl + C Ctrl + V Ctrl + x Ctrl + P Etc and it will work just fine as it should and you can even connect to wireless printers and take printouts of your notes and definitely be something that you need to really try in your device and As it is part of Android x86 project. You can go ahead and download pretty much any apps or games from Play Store and run it on your PC with Remix OS and that's how you do it.
